Through the window
Through the window I see a black bird high in a tree.
He is as dark as the night sky with blood red streaks along his wings.
I opened the old windows and scared the bird away – no worms are getting eaten today!
A sparkling silver plane with crimson wings soared through the sky and broke through a cloud.
I stared at the plane with longing. Ohh, how I wish to be on a plane, looking at the world below.
A removal van trundles into our broken down lane and I’m filled with dread.
It’s all I can do not to cry.
I promised myself I would be brave but a tear escapes down my cheek.
Ohh, how I will miss this old window seat, looking down on the world below.

Through the window
I look out my tight glass window as the sun beams at its strongest.
I listen intently to the intriguing sound of my geese washing themselves and spraying refreshing water over the new cut grass.
In the distance I can see a sparkling river, running down beside the fresh blossomed trees arching over it.
The sandy coloured sun bounces off my freezing cold pool and makes it look so inviting I just want to jump in and splash around.
I can see the sparkling water as the sun fades and I get ready for bed.
Meanwhile the stars appear and they twinkle as if they’re winking at me.
Then I get into bed and prepare myself for the future day.
Year 6
I can’t believe how little time we have left as being year 6′s!
When we leave this website shall be passed down to the new year 6′s. They shall then carry this on, they already have a few good ideas! It is good to know that when we leave, this website will be in good hands.
